About me
My name is Phillip Ndowu and I am a professional photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee. Photography has always been a passion of mine, but I never really took it up professionally because of all the competition, well, until the summer of 2017. During summer 2017, I realized that sometimes you have to do what you love regardless of the outside noise.
I created Staccato Photography not because I simply love taking photos, but because I love the connection I get to have with people in a split moment of time. Those moments in time are something that will never happen again, which means every moment that is captured is unique and should not be taken for granted.
The name "staccato" is a musical term which describes a sound or note in a line of music that is played detached from the other notes. Simply, that is what I believe photos are - different, unique, bold.
Outside of photography, I am a full-time student. Other hobbies of mine include playing my clarinet, playing tennis, watching movies and enjoying the creation that is God's beautiful Earth.
